On December 9 at 18.00 the Tartu Students' Nature Conservation Circle mixed choir will perform their traditional Christmas concert in the Omicum atrium. The choir is conducted by Sirle Lorvi, accompanied by Elin Soomets-Alver and Iris Altmets on piano and the choir ensemble.
Tartu Students' Nature Conservation Circle mixed choir was founded in 1999. It is a unique group whose greatest assets are being youthful and open to all ideas. Sirle Lorv, the always cheerful and dedicated conductor, can be described in the same words.
The choir's repertoire is varied, consisting of both classics and more popular musical pieces. They also try to mix in some nature-themed or simply folkloric songs from time to time. The choir sings mostly in Estonian.
The event is free of charge and the broadcast can also be watched on ringikoor.ee
